The courses have undergone several million dollars' worth of thoughtful renovations in recent years, but they retain their quintessential urbanity. The park contains two highly acceptable courses: Pelham, which opened in 1901, and Split Rock, which opened in 1935. Our most frequent golf destination in the city is Pelham Bay Park, in the northeastern corner of the Bronx.
